Gluten Free PARIS Guide

In the land of crepes, croissants, and baguettes, gluten-free eating can be a bit of a challenge. But if you have to avoid the wheat protein, don't worry. I've got you covered!

These spots are all gluten-free-friendly, nourishing-but-delicious restaurants and bakeries you can enjoy while in the City of Lights!

Tasca | Holy smokes Tasca was so good! A gluten-free Italian haven amidst a lot of gluten-filled French food. It was so good we went twice. The first night, I ordered the ravioli and Casmir got the lamb. The second night, I got the pizza and he got a pasta. All 4 dishes were amazing (the ravioli was the best, you must try it!) and it was relatively reasonably priced. Just a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower, it's the perfect spot to enjoy dinner and then head to the park outside the Tower to watch the light show (just skip the champagne, iykyk).

Little Nonna | Ok I'm not going to lie. I didn't totally love the pizza we ordered. But I think it's because we got one with a cream sauce and it was just too saucy. But the crust was actually an amazing gluten-free crust, so go and enjoy a tomato-based pizza and I bet you'll love it!

Cafe Mareva | When I saw this place in my research, I knew we had to go. They're famous for their savory sweet potato waffles, and we got ours with avocado, egg, tomato, bacon and greens. It was so unexpected and delicious! We went to the Montmarte location.

Helmut Newcake | This was absolutely the Paris highlight for my gluten-free heart! Run by Mary, a fellow celiac, Helmut Newcake is an entirely gluten-free bakery. At the time of writing this, she's only open on Saturday mornings, and a lot of things were picked over when we got there, so I'd recommend getting there when she opens. The few things we tried were out-of-this-world amazing! The baguette was amazing and I died over whatever the berry and cream perfection was.

Wild & The Moon | This is an all-plant-based spot for smoothies, juices, and bowls. We got the blue magic bowl with spirulina which just felt like a great reprieve in the midst of so much bread. A great spot to load up on some vitamins and nutrients! We went to the Saint-Honoré location but they have many across Paris.

Noglu | Noglu is another all-gluten free bakery and I had heard a lot of hype so I had high expectations. I must say, everything we had from Helmut Newcake was better (especially the baguette) but it was still such a treat to get to enjoy some baked goods in Paris!

Le Saint Regis | I had read in another gluten-free Paris guide that this was a great spot for an omelet, and it did not disappoint. It's surprisingly hard to find anything other than baked goods for breakfast anywhere in Paris, so I really enjoyed this high-protein delicate omelet and mixed greens.

Le Loulou | This was our final meal on our way out of Paris to the train station and I'm so glad we made the final stop. Loulou has health-forward Australian fare with many gluten free options. We both got a burger; I went bunless but Casmir really enjoyed the gluten-free bun. We also got a couple gluten-free baked goods for the train ride and they were also delicious! (Careful, there are a few different LouLou restaurants in Paris!)

I hope these spots help you enjoy your time in this romantic city with a nice, full belly. Pin this guide to your Travel board (and don't miss this guide for where to stay + what to do!) and get ready for your next trip to the City of Lights.
