It's been 4 months and 8 days since this incredible day, and I still don't think I've processed the magic of it all. I felt like I was floating through a dream, through the manifestation of every detail I had ever envisioned for what it could hold. But among all the chaos and ALL the feels, there was a still, small voice that followed me. Three words that kept me steady. “fullness of joy.” In your presence, there is fullness of joy. My joy was full because His presence was everywhere. I felt it in every moment of that day. When I couldn't sleep at 3:00am and my sweet girls were already waiting to giggle and squeal with me. When I watched my dearest friends sweat it out after I tricked them into starting the day with a hot yoga sculpt class. When I drove toward the countryside with the bluest of sky and the greenest of grass on the most PERFECT October day in Texas history. When tears flooded my eyes when I finally saw my groom. And when peace washed over me as I walked with my dad, the greatest man I've ever known, toward my husband, the best friend I've ever had. When I hammered that nail into the cross and knew every burden, sin, and broken piece of my past was nailed with it. And when I caught myself, in the midst of a Whitney Houston classic, and looked around to see every person I've ever loved from every different walk of my life there sharing in my joy.
Every. Single. Moment. Of that day was packed with love and grace and true bliss. Joy to the fullest indeed.
So to Mimi for being there to cry with me when I found the perfect dress. To Jess for stepping in at crunch time when I was about to lose my mind. To Mama Mooibroek for making every dreamy vision I had of white blooms and lots of eucalyptus come true. And to her brave crew for being her hands and feet. To Tori, the Maid of Honor of the century, for sharing in my joy, my stress, my chaos and my tears for each day of those 10 months. To Frank for being our handy chef as we welcomed in our travelers. To Jack for effectively and valiantly securing our rings. To Auntie Christi for making her toffee and Mama Mason for baking her cookies, so we could cheers to the night with our favorite treats. To my bridesmaids for being more than I ever could have hoped for in the women that would stand by my side and to his groomsmen, for making my man the absolute goofball that he is. To Mama Huff for boldly coordinating a wedding at a venue she had never been to for people she had never met. To Dave for officiating a worshipful ceremony and making Christ's love the center of our union. And of course to everyone that traveled to the good ole Lonestar state to be a part of our day and share in our joy. Thank you could never suffice for the gratitude we have for you. You are the friends that make this world a good place. You are the family we hope to always walk through life with. You are the type of people we strive to be. Thank you for blessing our marriage.
And of course to our families. Who gave us everything we have. Who gave us a day more beautiful than words. But most importantly, who have modeled selfless love and life-long partnership. Who have showed us how to build a home on morals and values. How to love people by loving one another. And how to live lives of purpose and grace. We are who we are because of you, and we were ready to embrace this big thing called marriage because you showed us it was worth it.
10 | 21 | 16. A day I'll never forget with details I'll always cherish.

Such a beautiful day…thanks for sharing this and every detail and every photo. Brought a smile to my face and warmth to my heart! I am ever so happy for you, dear Mollie!
Love you, April!
Love stories like this are absolutely precious to me Mollie; I’m so grateful you shared these moments on Instagram, and coming to your blog is such an encouragement that love is a beautiful gift from God.
Love is absolutely the greatest gift He gives us and the best way we can worship Him. Love sharing with you, Emily!
EEEEEEKK I love this!!!! I had so much fun celebrating this love! Best day ever!! Love you so much, Molls!
I stumbled upon your post from pinterest! This wedding is beautiful and I love that you incorporated your faith into it so well! Question, the monogram above the desert table, is that you and your husbands first initials with your last initial in between? Or is it you three initials?
Lauren, thanks so much for the sweet words! It was the most magical day and it wouldn’t have been possible without Christ so we loved bringing Him into all the details. Yes the monogram is my first initial on the left, our last name in the middle, and his first initial on the right. That’s a traditional monogram for a couple. I ordered it from etsy then painted it myself. Are you planning for your own wedding?
I am indeed! It’s coming up in May. I stumbled upon your post by a random thought to search for my dress and see if anyone else has worn it for their wedding. It looks fabulous on you!
Oh my goodness, no way!!! I’m so glad you’ll be wearing it! I loved it so much and felt so wonderful and comfortable in it. I hope it does the same for you. Sending lots of love for a wonderful wedding and marriage for you!
This is beautiful! I have a question, what color are those bridesmaid dresses?
Thank you, Allie! It was such a dream.
The dresses are from David’s Bridal & they’re the biscotti color.
Hi Mollie, love the post.
Were your bridesmaid dresses the mesh fabric?
Your wedding was so beautiful!! I came across your blog when searching for bridesmaid colors on Pinterest and your pictures are what convinced us to go with Biscotti! 🙂 We are now hunting for ties for the guys and want to match the biscotti color. Do you mind me asking where you got the guys suspenders and bow ties and what color they are called?
Congratulations on your marriage!
Hi Paige! Thanks for the sweet words- I’m so glad our photos could be an inspiration for you. Our day was such a dream come true! We actually got the suspenders and bowties from Amazon, they matched perfectly! Here’s the link: https://amzn.to/2EAXbhk
Hi Mollie! Your wedding day looks and sounds so beautiful! Interestingly I stumbled across your blog by looking for ways to help heal my gut 😛 I got married the month before you, and I have also struggled with chronic illness, which I have mostly cured through my own research and through learning to heal my heart and soul by the Grace of God. I think what you’re doing is incredible and so needed! I recently started my own blog, Artist Adventurer, about health, music and travelling, I’d love if you would had a chance to check it out, it is only VERY recent, but I’d love to connect with you, and if you’re interested I’d be keen to collaborate with you at some point 🙂 Regardless though, thanks for being so open about your faith and your journey, and also your health knowledge. It’s so needed and rarer than it should be, so great work!
